Spencer earned a master’s degree from USC in materials engineering in 2021 and a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 2019. At USC, he studied charge carrier dynamics in perovskites using novel computational methods. He joined the Narang Lab after returning to UCLA for a PhD, and studies hydrodynamic electron behavior there.
