Sophia joined the Narang Lab in the spring of 2023 as an undergraduate student. She is a physics major at UCLA with a broad interest in condensed matter research for the development of quantum technologies. Her current research focus involves excited state behaviors and nonlinearity in Weyl semimetals, and she looks forward to the evolution of topological materials in these ever-growing fields.

Outside the lab, Sophia enjoys thrifting, listening to music, and exploring nature.
