Jane joined the Narang Lab in the winter of 2020 as a graduate student and is co-advised with professor Frances Ross at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She received her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) characterization of 2D magnetic materials and the interactions between magnetic atoms in these materials.

Fun fact: Jane bakes cake/dessert when stressed out.
