Dr. Dennis Nenno
CTO Group at BASF, Germany
Dennis received his PhD in Physics from the University of Kaiserslautern in 2019. He has worked on modeling ultrafast electronic transport in spintronic heterostructures. During a research stay at the College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona, he developed a computational approach to Terahertz emission from thin metallic layers. His current research focus is the calculation of optical and electronic response properties in topological materials. He is particularly interested in how emerging quantum effects can be incorporated in a semi-classical framework to model future devices. He is currently a CTO for a group at BASF in Germany.
