Ashley joined the Narang Lab in the Fall of 2023 as an incoming graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry. She received a B.S. in Chemistry with minors in Ethics and Peace & Justice from Villanova University in May 2023. Her research background is in machine learning and organic synthesis of novel Quaternary Phosphonium and Quaternary Ammonium compounds to eliminate antimicrobial-resistant bacteria in common and hospital acquired settings. She is interested in using quantum chemistry and optics to investigate high harmonic generation and quantum algorithms and programming.

Ashley plays 5 instruments (flute, piccolo, guitar, piano, electric bass) and has a dachshund named Cornelius.
