Alexander joined the Narang Lab in 2023 as a visiting graduate researcher. Having completed his BSc in Physics at ETH Zürich in 2021, he is pursuing his graduate studies at ETH Zürich in Quantum Engineering. In his research, Alexander focusses on Quantum Algorithms, Tomography and Learning Theory as well as optimization techniques and Machine Learning. At UCLA Alexander is working on online process tomography for mixed unitary channels for their uses in quantum chemistry and hardware characterization.

On the rare occasion that he quantum tunnels outside the office he enjoys water sports, Brazilian jiu jitsu and all things Italian in nature.
