Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics from the University of Chicago in 2020. As a graduate student at Harvard, his research focuses on developing on-chip platforms for efficiently transducing quantum information between a variety of compelling candidate qubit platforms, including color centers in diamond, superconducting qubits, and microwave/optical photons. He hopes that these transduction schemes will facilitate the development of a robust quantum internet.
